Description
The Scheppach HM216 Sliding Mitre Saw is a high-performance sliding mitre saw, ideal for demanding DIYers and hobbyists who require precision and flexibility. Powered by a robust 2000 W motor delivering up to 4,700 rpm, it makes light work of hardwood, softwood, and plastics - perfect for flooring, framing, or general carpentry tasks.
Its compact aluminium die-cast frame ensures both durability and portability, making it easy to store or transport between jobs. The saw comes with two 216 mm carbide-tipped blades (24T and 48T), allowing you to tackle a wide variety of cuts - from fast rip cuts to fine, detailed work.
- High-performance motor: 2000 W motor with 4900 rpm blade speed handles hardwood, softwood and plastics with ease - ideal for DIY and hobby use
- Accurate & adjustable cuts: Turntable rotates 0–45°; saw blade tilts up to 45° left for precise mitre and bevel cuts
- Laser-guided cutting: Integrated laser and smooth sliding function provide accurate results on workpieces up to 340mm wide and 65mm high
- Carbide blades: Comes with 216mm blades (24T/48T) for rough and fine cutting tasks across multiple materials
- Workshop-friendly design: Compact, lightweight die-cast aluminium frame with extendable side supports, top clamping screw and full blade guard for safety and stability
The sliding function enables the HM216 to cut workpieces up to 340 mm wide and 65 mm high. Extendable side tables offer support for longer materials like skirting or floorboards, while a top-mounted clamping screw securely holds your workpiece in place to prevent movement during cutting.
The saw’s turntable rotates from 0° to 45° with positive stops at common angles (0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30°, and 45°), ensuring quick and accurate mitre setups. The blade also tilts 0–45° to the left for precise bevel cuts. An integrated laser guide projects the cutting line directly onto the material, helping you achieve consistently accurate results without guesswork.
For added safety and ease of use, the HM216 features sturdy parallel guides for smooth blade movement, a wide ergonomic handle, and a fully enclosed blade guard. Whether you're working on detailed joinery or large-scale timber projects, the Scheppach HM216 delivers professional-quality results in a compact and user-friendly package.
